# User Status, for your time away and holidays

## Change your status

Everyone on EasyBloggers can change their status. To do so, click on your picture at the top right and click "Update your status."

In this menu, you can describe why you must go away and the number of days.

When you've filled in the fields and clicked "Update your status", any in-progress deadline will be updated to be extended by the number of days you need to be away across all your sponsors, you don't need to ask for any permission.

## Stores and events

On the member's page, you will see the active status of a blogger at the bottom of their card, and if you hover over the status with your mouse, you can see the reason. Do you think a blogger is abusing the system? Click on their profile and review the "Previous status" on their profile at the bottom.

## Privacy

By default, only the date of your return will be shown to everyone. If you are part of a brand, the managers can see the reason for your time off and your previous time off on your profile to prevent abuse.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.kynno.app/easybloggers/user-status-for-your-time-away-and-holidays.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
